We have worked on a 'dual labour rate' system for many years here at TDI. This is due to the fact that rolling road work requires additional machinery and diagnostics equipment that would not be used when fitting say anything from an exhaust system to a turbocharger kit. Therefore we decided it would be fairer to operate on a split rate depending on which services you require. For 'general' labour, that is, any work not involving the rolling road or it's associated equipment is charged at £68.00 per hour excluding VAT.
